Don’t be scared, growing roses is not as difficult as it seems. Here are some great tips for you:

Water & Sunlight
Roses need at least 6 hours of sunlight. They will need water every day (in the morning is better).

You have to fertilize when the leaves are just appearing. The best way to fertilize is by using a water soluble fertilizer every two weeks or using a long last fertilizer.

Roses need to be pruned from time to time. Make sure to take away the vanishing roses or those who have different color from the other ones. This will increase the flower production.

Prune the old roses just over the first bud. Don’t prune the leaves, they are fundamental for the roses to grow.

Ground Humidity
To keep the soil humidify and free from weed the best way to do it is by using mulch, like Terracolor® or Ecorteza® just apply a 2 in depth and the mulch would do the rest. It will keep the ground warm in Winter and cool in spring.

Winter is coming!
Roses must be prepared for winter. Stop fertilizing at the end of spring and take off the dying roses this will stop the growth. Make sure to cover the ground with a mulch with a 2 – 5 in layer.
